Getting inside. We need someone to let us in: a relative, a neighbor with keys, the tenant or property management. Without access we record what can be seen from outside, at the Lite price. Inheritance and title transfers need a lawyer in China; we don't handle them.
Questions
Can you check my parents' apartment while they're away or after they've moved?
Yes. A relative, neighbor or property management office lets us in, or we meet whoever holds the keys. We record the condition of every room, the meters and anything posted on the door, with photos and video.
Can you check an inherited property?
We can visit and record its condition and whether it appears occupied, as far as can be seen from inside with permission, or from outside if no one can let us in. The inheritance itself, including title transfer, needs a lawyer in China.
What if nobody can let you in?
We record what can be seen from outside: the building, the door, the windows, the meters if accessible, and the neighborhood, and we ask property management what they can tell us. You pay the Lite price for an outside-only visit.
Can you help me sell or rent it out?
Yes, through a licensed local agency in China that we introduce you to, under its own contract. If you use them, we tell you that the agency is our partner.
Can you check who is living there?
We report what we see and what property management or neighbors tell us. We don't investigate people or ask for their documents.
